After being shut down in 2020, the 30th Annual Colorado Mountain Winefest was back for another great year. Wineries from the Grand Valley area and beyond shared their best wines at this fun, annual event.
The annual Castle Rock WineFest held on Saturday, July 17th at Butterfield Park in the Meadows. The annual Colorado wine event was big and bold with more than 1,000 people in attendance and 28 wineries providing samples of their craft.
The introduction of vineyards in Palisade, Colorado began in the 1860s by George Crawford. Wine vanished from the Western Slope of Colorado through prohibition, but returned in the 1970s. Since then the Grand Valley has become an International wine destination.
